Fuel Efficency update June 12, 2006

Usually my car gets about 40-45 gallon under normal driving conditions.  The end of my experiment showed that I managed 46.25mpg by driving carefully!  Compared to
41.77 by always driving at the limit on exactly the same terrain - I can’t account for temperature (it has been warm recently) but at least I can prove a substantial difference between the two. 4.48mpg doesn’t seem a lot, but it works out at roughly a saving of 10% on my fuel bills (about £90pa).  And of course keeps the enviroment feeling healthier than it otherwise would…
